The North of Boston Book Trail a group of 16 independently owned bookstores in the region North of Boston working together to bring more book lovers – both locals and tourists – into all of their shops. The Trail showcases the unique character and charm of each bookstore, while also highlighting the diverse literary community in the area.

By working together, these independent bookstores hope to create a greater sense of community and to foster a love of reading and books across the state. Whether you’re looking for a hard-to-find book or the latest bestseller, you’re sure to find it at one of the participating stores on the Trail.

*There will be a limited run of printed passport books at each location and a single-sheet edition for anyone to print out to participate. Collect stamps from each store and once you’ve ‘finished’, let the last store you visit submit your passport entry for a chance to win prizes!
